Even Yamato's insistences that there's nothing to criticize do little to reassure him when it seems, blatantly, his feelings have contradicted what he knows is responsible, and what needs to be done ー even if it's only Yamato this time, perhaps Horikawa needs to be more careful of that matter in the future... He averts his eyes though, leaving that subject as it is.]

It's nice, having somebody to worry about anyway. The fact that Yamato seems to find this agreeable in the first place is also something that makes Horikawa feel a small swell of pride in his chest.]

[ In the kitchen, a time to himself and figuring what he's going to bring back with him. Something sweet but what? Honestly he doesn't want to eat any chocolate that's sitting around and he wants a sweet that'll bring his teeth to hurt on first bite. When it's too strong is the best or maybe he likes to hurt himself? Who knows. ]

[ Checking the fridge, he grabs the handle before opening it, peering inside for something. ] Ham.. eggs.. eggs? Turkey... hm..

[ A pause. And he's decided he'll grab every package of turkey and ham to eat if there's no sweets. Even packages of sliced roast that's sitting to the side. ]

[It's a beautiful night. That's what Horikawa notices in Yamato's absence. He feels a little odd about it, but the questions that were asked of him still ring odd in his head, and he still feels a little unsure of himself in reflection of them. It's unbecoming of him, he thinks, but hard to suppress such feelings when he truly doesn't know. At the least, he's relieved that he and Yamato can talk as comfortably as they can.

When he can hear the sound of Yamato shuffling under the window again, whenever he's finished with the gathering and perhaps preparing of whatever he's chosen, Horikawa welcomes the company again to distract himself with the more immediate.]

[ Different piles of meet in the sadnwich bags that he should be saving for sandwiches but he's hungry so this will do as he now sits back down next to Horikawa and eats like an unwashed savage. Sticking his hands into the pack and pulling out a slice of meat before taking a bite of it. He seems satisfied but Yamato is weird anyway, he has no reason to be clean and watch how he eats at the moment, this is Horikawa that he's next to. ]

Do you want a piece? I think it's really good.

[ He couldn't find anything sweet, he's making up for loss. ]
