[Action] Backdated to 3/2
And found himself waking up a few days ago, very much alive and weak. But alive. He have heard about it, how death doesn't seem to be permanent for monsters like them. But he never consider what to do if--when--it's his turn. On one hand, he's alive and he's grateful for it. On the other hand, the circumstances didn't make it easier for him to accept it.
Although he's been keeping to himself, at least as far as telling everyone what happened to him, Yamanbagiri's taken to helping out (as always) with the chores inside the citadel and opt against his nightly outings for a while. Both to distract himself and to avoid pushing his body too much. At least until he's physically well enough to head outside at night again.
But maybe... he should go out at night less often? Sometimes while doing chores, his gaze and his hand might briefly go down to where the gunshot wounds are. The bullet's gone, but the scar remains. Like a physical reminder that someone killed him.
Killed him. That green harpy, who he suspected is Nemesis Sudou. And then there's the fact that his comrades would be aware of her name, ever since he showed his hand with her name marked on it to them. Not just his comrades, but also Horikawa.
A thought came to him, causing him to start searching for his brother. His ears were twitching, trying to pick up any sounds Horikawa may have made. He also try find and follow any fresher scent left behind by him, too. But whether Horikawa is working (his most likely guess) or not, Yamanbagiri quietly approaches his brother and speaks.]
... Brother, are you free? I want to talk about something.

As Yamanbagiri may have expected, Horikawa is doing just that when he arrives; the wakizashi barely bats an eye at his brother's meek approach, focusing on sorting some of the food that he's prepared into the proper containers for the different members of the house to ensure that they each have their meals. (There are a lot, to be fair.) It's only after a moment that he raises his eyes, a bright and comforting smile offered up.]
Ah, of course! Is there something on your mind?
[Though his tone is amiable, there's an underlying understanding to it as well. After all, each of them knows of the circumstances that the others underwent, and Horikawa has personally committed each of the names inscribed on his comrades hands to memory, even if his own enemy may not be perceived as a particular threat to their household just yet from his perspective.]

He nods and is quiet for a moment. He looks at his brother in the eyes before he finally speak. He doesn't know if what he's thinking of is the correct approach. But he wants to say them out loud to someone.]
Yes, it's about Nemesis Sudou.
[The odd name that used to be on his hand. Yamanbagiri almost thought "Nemesis" is a title, but he can't... really say that, due to who he knows.]
I'm thinking of going to talk to her. ["Her". He's almost sure the green harpy he met is Nemesis Sudou. That harpy gave him an obvious sounding alias, but she must be her.] I... have no intention of seeking revenge on her.
[It might be surprising, it might not be. He's frustrated by what happened, but he... bears almost no hatred towards her.]

[That's enough for Horikawa to drop the rest of the attention he was paying the meal immediately, focusing entirely on Yamanbagiri in its stead. Horikawa had definitely taken note of the names possessed by each of his comrades, after all, and had ensured that he knew which ones didn't return after the days that they had left. While his own partner is something of a special case, it's easy to see the doubt that traces his features as his eyebrows draw together, looking at Yamanbagiri similarly to how a concerned parent might.]
Are you sure that's a good idea, Brother? It would be no good for you to do something dangerous, if she still happens to be...
[Because honestly, who knows. In a place like this one can encounter those who feel compulsion and defensiveness in their actions, or those who genuinely revel in the violence. Though Horikawa himself may be ambiguous on that line, and he has faith in his brother to have good judgement, it's still in his nature to worry.]
Do you have any less direct ways to do this?
no subject
... I don't know if it's a good idea. [He can admit that. It's just the two of them right now.] But I know that I want to talk to her. I want to see what she's like, without any of that... name matching business.
[Is she an enemy? Or just someone to avoid? Or simply to keep an eye on? That's why he need to see and talk to her, before he can decide on what to do.]
I'm thinking of talking to her in a private channel first. I wouldn't go and meet her in person. [Yet? It's easy for anyone to lie over the network, especially if they're typing. If they're using audio, who knows if he's really talking to Nemesis? He may want to meet her in person, as long as he's prepared.]

[He visibly relaxes though, when his brother notes that he would be using the network. Out of all the possible options, at least something like that puts a physical distance if nothing else. The earlier tone had worried him that it would be another confrontation, but some of the tenseness leaves his posture as he thinks on those words.]
That seems like a good idea, then. I suppose it could be important to have this resolved in the future...
[He's half trying to convince himself too, but at least there's no more audible concern in his tone.]
no subject
[Whether she have no ill will, or truly someone to stay on guard for. Yamanbagiri pause for a moment, as he thinks of something just now. Speaking of informing everyone, while Horikawa is the first to know of his decision, the others doesn't.]
... I should tell everyone about this first, before they decide to get revenge for my sake.
[Yamanbagiri doesn't sound too happy about that idea, if only because he's worried. More for the other werewolves in the citadel than any other monster types. The reason? A werewolf's weaknesses is well known and he doesn't know if Nemesis Sudou always carry that gun.
If anyone wants revenge, he rather they wait first until after he talk with Nemesis.]
